Meet the Editors Webinar

On Thursday 22nd May we held a webinar bringing together early career researchers to interact with editors representing a range of prestigious defence journals. The webinar was for those thinking about submitting their first article or wanting to brush up your skills, as well as to better understand what goes on when submitting a journal article.

We heard insider tips to understand what editors are looking for and how you can help to give your article the best possible chance. The absolute top tip that came up time and again was to read the instructions for authors - this was a tip repeated by every editor that spoke. The main reason articles are rejected is because they are either not the right fit or not in a format accepted by the journal. Our banner image has a few other super tips to help you on your way.
